Eunice is usually laughing and smiling! Her father passed in 2019 and she now lives in Jingo and stays with her grandmother. She frequently performs household chores for her grandmother and her aunt and uncle who live nearby. She enjoys playing netball in her free time. She has missed several years of school because her grandmother was unable to pay school fees.

Enjoys
School and sports.
Location
Julius lives in Jingo Village with his mother, brothers, and sisters. His father passed in late 2019 which caused great hardship on the family and prevented the children from enrolling in school in 2020. His mother does local farming work to provide for the family. In 2022, we provided special support to enroll him in the community school and he performed at the top of the class.
Educational Info
Because of his high academic performance and test results, Julius was enrolled in our "group sponsorship" program in 2023. This is a short term program for up to 4 children who are most in need and have high academic scores. The goal is to enroll them for up to one year until with hopes that a sponsor will be found. In 2023, for primary 6 Julius was transferred from the community school to the larger boarding school, with higher academic standards, in the nearest town. After an adjustment period at the larger school, Julius quickly advanced and ended the year in the top position of his class which is an important ranking for school children in Uganda. Finding a sponsor for his continued educational training is critical for his future.
