Davis lives in the village of Achilet in Tororo District, Uganda with her parents in a semi-permanent house. He has two sisters. His mother is a peasant farmer and her father has been unable to find work outside the home for almost two years and is hoping to start a piggery business. They have struggled to pay Davis’ school fees since her father lost his job two years ago. He attends school in Tororo District.

Frank lives with relatives in another town. Frank and his sister, Success, have had a challenging lives. After many difficulties, they were taken in by their grandmother. For the last couple of years, they lived happily their grandmother in Jingo village until their grandmother passed unexpectedly in the fall of 2023. Sadly, Success remained in Jingo Village and currently stays with families in the Jingo community. The local family where Success lives has agreed to let Frank live with them if a sponsor is found to provide for his school fees.

Ronald lives in Zirobwe, Luweero with his father who has been unable to provide parental support. He has experienced many difficulties during his life but strives hard to overcome. He witnessed the passing of his younger brother in 2021 and his mother disappeared soon after.

Stephen lives in Mityana District with his father, mother and siblings. His father is a peasant farmer who works to grow food for his family. His mother is a teacher at the New Life Education Center. Stephen enjoys singing at church and to listen to stories.

Charles lives in Jingo Village with his family

Nicholus lives with his uncle since he lost his father when he was 3 years old. He is the oldest of seven children in the household and there are no funds to allow him to continue his education. Despite financial challenges throughout his life, he was able to successfully complete primary 7 and dreams of finishing his a 1 year training school to become an automotive mechanic.

Success lives in Jingo Village and currently stays with families in the Jingo community. She and her brother, Frank, had lived with her grandmother in the village but her grandmother passed unexpectedly in the fall of 2023. Sadly, her brother Frank was moved to live with relatives in another town.

Miracle lives with her mother, Madam Cissy, the headteacher of New Life Education Center and sole caretaker for Miracle and her siblings.

Teddy lives with her mother in rural Jingo Village, Mityana District, Uganda. Her father was unable to pay for her school fees. Teddy did very well in school when she was able to attend and her mother has asked for help in finding sponsor for Teddy's school fees. She very much wants her daughter to have the gift of education.
